| We are a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) wildlife rehabilitation and education
center. It is our mission to better the future of wildlife through
rehab, education, and research. We take in on average 700-1000
patients a year, which includes mammals, birds, reptiles and the
occasional amphibian. The Center has both State and Federal permits, which allows us to treat
and help native wildlife to Wisconsin including threaten and endangered
species. Also covered under these permits are our non-releasable
birds of prey and turtles used for educational purposes. We are
members of the National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association and
International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council
Currently we have 5 full-time staff (2 rehabbers, 2 educators, and 1 executive director) and a number of
volunteers. Our
numbers increase from spring-fall when the interns arrive.
(Interested in a internship?)
