Eagle Flight Cage

(Click on any image below to view full size)

After a year of construction, the new flight cage is finished.
Wisconsin Public Service donated the utility poles, cable, skill and labor to install them. An anonymous donor supplied the funding for the rest of the materials. The labor for the framework came from staff and volunteers. The result was a wonderful flight cage, 50 feet long, 50 feet wide and 20 feet high.

First we had to clear a site, with that finally done, Wisconsin Public Service arrived to place poles.

Staff helped WPS where we could, but mostly we watched.

Staff and volunteers installed the framework and panels, a finished flight cage, an eagle flies it out!
