Snort-Eastern Spiny Softshell turtle

Befriend Snort!

Injury:  None – Formerly kept as a pet

Snort is an Eastern Spiny Soft shell turtle.  He was kept as a pet for a number of years.  When the owner realized how much children enjoyed looking at him and watching him she donated Snort to the center.  Since we do not know the exact location where he was caught we cannot release him.  Snort, along with other turtles, helps us give turtle programs and show off all the neat adaptations he has.
