Leo-Long Eared owl

Befriend Leo!

Injury:  Improperly healed fracture at the shoulder joint

Leo, is an Long-eared owl who was transferred to the Center from another WI rehabber in October 2004.  His improperly healed shoulder limits his flight quite a bit.  While viewing Leo, visitors will mostly like see him doing what we call at the Center "The Tree Impression".  His little movement causes some visitors to say he looks more like an animated owl rather than a real one.
